Zoya Ravitch, Weeds
Zoya Ravitch (Olga Sosnovska): On comedy-drama series Weeds, Zoya was introduced as the “prison wife” of series protagonist Nancy as she served a three year jail sentence in the time between Seasons 6 and 7. The two shared a brief relationship while they were both serving sentences in prison, though Zoya was in jail for arson because she allegedly tied her ex-boyfriend to a bed and set him on fire. When Nancy got out of prison and moved to New York, Zoya followed her there in an attempt to continue the relationship. Zoya showed some possessive and controlling behavior toward Nancy, but she soon had to flee the state in order to avoid being framed for arson and sent back to prison. She was not seen again.
