Tasha Goss, APB
Tasha Goss (Tamberla Perry)
In procedural police series APB, Tasha Goss is a regular character, a police officer in the Chicago Police 13th District. In season 1 episode 7 she came out as a lesbian, when she and her partner helped a gay college student planning suicide, and recounted her own experience being rejected by her family.
At the end of the episode, Tasha went to see her partner (who seemed slightly surprised by the reveal) to ask if he wanted to talk about anything. He just said “I never knew… that you could go so long without eating.”, implying the reveal of her sexuality was a non issue. He then suggested they go out and get some food, and her coming out wasn’t discussed any further.
Tasha and her partner mostly handle the B-plot during each episode, there were no other references to Tasha being a lesbian. APB was cancelled after the first season.
