Susan Ross, Seinfeld
Susan Ross (Heidi Swedberg)
The character of Susan was introduced in Season 4 of the long-running sitcom Seinfeld as a network executive courted by George and Seinfeld as they pitched an idea for their own sitcom. Susan and George eventually started dating, but broke up after he kissed her during a meeting, resulting in her firing.
When George later ran into Susan at a video store, it was revealed that she was now dating a woman named Mona. George expressed his concern that he turned Susan lesbian. However, when Mona then fell for Georges friend Kramer instead, it confused the others as she had supposedly never expressed an interest in men before. Susan and Mona’s relationship seemed to be played as a joke and purely for laughs.
Susan returned once more in the seventh season to get engaged to George, only to end up dead by the end of the season.
