Sophie-Anne Leclerq (Evan Rachel Wood)
Sophie-Anne Leclerq was introduced as the Vampire Queen of Louisiana on the second season of dark fantasy horror series True Blood. In her first scene she was seen feeding from her human (later revealed to be a faerie) companion and lover Hadley Hale. Sophie-Anne had a recurring role as an antagonist to the main characters in the second, third, and fourth seasons of the series.
In the third season it was revealed that Sophie-Ann had financial problems and had been selling Vampire blood so that she could get money. Vampire King Russel offered to marry her in order to help her and after some coercing Sophie-Anne agreed. After she and Russel were married she and Hadley moved into his mansion.
Russel was then killed and in the season finale Sophie-Anne was challenged to a duel to death by lead character Bill, leaving her fate on a cliffhanger. However, in season 4 episode 2 it was revealed through flashbacks that she had been shot through the heart and killed.
