Sophia Varma (Sarita Choudhury). On the first season of crime drama Blindspot, it was revealed in flashback scenes that Sophia Varma used to work with together with Bethany Mayfair, and the two were in a relationship, before their project went sour and Sophia took her own life. It was later revealed that Sophia had actually faked her own death and had gone into hiding; she reappeared in episode 18 to participate in a plot to frame Mayfair for the murder of her new lover, in order to throw her off an investigation.
