Sofia, No Tomorrow
Sofia (Marta Milans)
Sofia was first introduced in episode 6 of comedy series No Tomorrow, as Kareema’s brother Rohan’s fiancee. In the same episode, she told Kareema she wasn’t really in love with Rohan, that their planned marriage was because she needed a green-card, and that she had feelings for Kareema. After that, Kareema and Sofia ended up having sex.
At the end of the episode, Kareema’s brother told her he was actually in love with Sofia, although it didn’t stop Kareema from continuing the affair.
Rohan eventually saw a sext from Kareema and called off the wedding, leaving Sofia in danger of immediate deportation. Kareema confessed she was falling for her, dropped down on one knee and proposed marriage. Sofia agreed, even though they were doing things out of order.
When it was time for the wedding, Kareema was at first reluctant to go through with it without her brother there. After she and her brother reconciled, Kareema and Sofia got married in episode 11.
In the season finale, Kareema was planning her honeymoon with Sofia (who was only mentioned and didn’t appear on screen after the wedding). The show was cancelled after the first season.
