Reagan, Faking It
Reagan (Yvette Monreal). On romantic comedy Faking It, a show about two friends pretending to be lesbians that heavily promoted wlw content, Reagan, the show’s only actual lesbian character, was introduced only in season two on a recurring basis.
She was introduced as a “hip, edgy lesbian with a rebellious streak”. She was a cater-waiter by day and DJ by night who was fiercely out and proud and confident/independent, supporting herself and her music career with odd jobs.
Series’ protagonist Amy got a crush on her and asked for her number and two of them dated for sometime, until Regan learned that Amy was bisexual (she explained that her ex-girlfriend, Charlotte, left her for a boy), which led to the two of them breaking up.
