In Season 5 of the anthology series, American Horror Story: Hotel, Ramona Royale was a well known actress who had a decade-spanning past relationship with the vampire Countess, Elizabeth. Ramona’s ambition led her to break away and become a maker herself by turning her new lover, Prophet Moses. He and his entire posse were then murdered in a fit of jealousy by the Countess, all witnessed by Ramona.

Ramona vowed to take revenge on the Countess and kidnapped her new lover, Donovan; after discovering that Donovan and the Countess had already broken up, she convinced him to join her in a plan to murder her.

Though Prophet Moses was killed off, Ramona still considered him “the great love of her life”.

The show is still airing, however, each season is conceived as a self-contained miniseries, following a different set of characters and settings, and new storylines.
