Rachel Davis, Famous in Love

Rachel Davis (Katelyn Tarver)
Famous in Love is a drama series, produced by I. Marlene King (Pretty Little Liars), about making films and the love life of celebrities. Rachel Davis was introduced in episode 1×02 as a Broadway actress that came back to Hollywood because there was no money in theater roles. She appeared in 4 episodes, as a brief love interest for regular bisexual character Alexis Glenn.
Storyline Summary
She and Alexis had a romantic history and Rachel was aware of Alexis’ current relationship with another actress named Dakota (though Alexis told her the relationship had ended). At a party for a film in which both Rachel and Alexis were starring, Alexis told Rachel she wanted to get back together with her and kissed her.
In episode 1×03, Rachel and Alexis seemed to be in a relationship (that developed off screen between the two episodes) and living in the same apartment. They quarreled over Alexis not wanting their relationship to go public and uncomfortable with Rachel being in the same movie with her, and Alexis didn’t want to show affection on set. Rachel was fired from the movie because of behind the scenes issues, but thought Alexis was behind it and broke up with her.
In episode 1×07, Alexis was forced to ask Rachel to become her co-star in an indie movie she was producing, written by her boyfriend (regular character Jake Salt). Rachel agreed with one condition: having Jake fired and replaced with a writer of her choice.
In episode 1×10, Rachel orchestrated for Alexis to be kicked out of both producing and starring in the indie movie. Alexis accused her of being a heartless bitch and doing it because she didn’t want their relationship to become public. That caused Rachel to have regrets and apologize, which Alexis accepted, and they ended up having sex. That had been Alexis’ plan all along as she filmed it and released their sex tape to the press, blaming it on Rachel.

Quotes
Alexis is a wild child! She’s this bisexual, free spirit who has this edge to her. He has a strong, Type A personality, so to sexually be with somebody who’s not like that, he’s really into that. Of course, there’s also opportunity and he’s a little start struck when he meets her. He wants to be with somebody who’s a little crazy — I mean, Paige is a little crazy. I think he sees a little bit of the same thing.
