Phyllis was introduced as a recurring character in the fourth season. She was Bette’s new boss and married with two children. She became obsessed with Alice and came out during the season, then had an on-and-off relationship with her divorce attorney, Joyce Wischnia.
In the series finale and Joyce were still together.
