Perry Marks, Party of Five

Perry Marks (Olivia d’Abo)
Perry was introduced in Season 5 to play a love interest for main character Julia Salinger in a 3-episode May sweeps arc. The storyline culminated in a gimmicky “lesbian kiss episode” when Perry and Julia kissed, after Perry gave some Julia good news. After the kiss, Julia didn’t want to lose their friendship but Perry said she didn’t want Julia, who had just left an abusive relationship, to use her to work on her issues. Perry then disappeared of the show.

Quotes
“Julia isn’t harboring any secret lesbian feelings, and she doesn’t even think that way. There’s a moment where they kiss but it’s more like friends kissing each other.” “It’s more complicated when Julia becomes aware that Perry is gay and has to deal with what it means to have a gay friend if you’re straight.”
