Pamela Clayborne, Saints & Sinners
Pamela Clayborne (Gloria Reuben)
Pamela Clayborne was the mayor of a small town in Georgia. On the premiere of the show, the corrupt Pastor Johnson was murdered. His wife, councilwoman Lady Ella Johnson was not only running for mayor herself, but also having an affair with Pamela.
Pamela and Ella’s relationship was revealed, without proof, during a live TV interview. That automatically made Ella a suspect in her husband’s murder, which she denied several times. It was also implied that Ella and Pamela had conspired to murder him.
In the Season 1 finale, “Revelations”, Pamela’s husband, Travis, returned home just in time for an intruder tied to the man wrongfully accused to break in, and threaten to kill both Pamela and Travis, and the truth was revealed: Travis was the one who killed the Pastor because he thought that was who Pamela was sleeping with. He never dreamed it would be a woman. “You had the right affair but the wrong spouse!? That’s hilarious. Sad but hilarious.” – and the intruder shot and killed both Travis and Pamela.
