Nadia, Lost Girl

Nadia (Athena Karkanis)
Nadia was introduced in Season 2 Lauren’s girlfriend that had been in a coma for five years. In season 2, episode 8, Nadia was freed from the curse with the help of Bo, Lauren’s love interest. At the end of the episode Nadia and Lauren attended Bo’s surprise party, and in a later episode left for a road trip together.
When they returned there was obvious tension between them since Nadia didn’t know anything about the Fae world, she also grew increasingly jealous of Bo and her friendship with Lauren. Nadia also started to experience blackouts and at the end of episode 17 she cut her own hand with a knife, with a strange look in her eyes.
Episode 2×19 was Nadia’s last appearance on the show; with her blackouts becoming increasingly worse Lauren tried to find a cure for them. However, Laurens cure made Nadia more violent, to the point where she tried to attack Lauren.
Lauren asked Bo for help, but Nadia became increasingly violent, attacking both Bo and Lauren. Nadia then had a moment of clarity when she was in the middle of strangling Lauren, she let Lauren go and begged her to kill her. Lauren and Bo both refused at first, but after Nadia attacked Lauren again Bo stabed her, effectively killing her. It was revealed after her death that Nadia had been possessed.
