Mary was a guest character in season 1 episode 7 of Torchwood. She was a female alien with whom regular character Toshiko Sato had a brief affair. However, it turned out Mary was only using Tosh to get access to her technology which Torchwood had confiscated earlier. Mary had Tosh at knife-point but Tosh’s boss Jack managed to kill her by transporting her to the center of the sun.
