Maria Reyes had a minor guest appearance in Season 4 as main character Samantha’s love interest during her “experimental phase”. Samantha and Maria became friends after meeting at an art gallery, Maria revealed that she was a lesbian, which made Samantha question her own sexuality.
The two started dating and enjoyed a short relationship, but Samantha soon began to tire of the relationship, said she missed men too much, and she couldn’t fully commit to any relationship. Maria then disappeared of the show and Samantha went back to only dating men.
