Mandy Goodhue, Bad Girls
Mandy Goodhue (Angela Bruce). Introduced in Season 8, Mandy Goodhue was an experienced prison officer who joined the staff at Larkhall. She had an off-screen long-term girlfriend, Sandy, whom she called “the Mrs” and their two babies – her dogs, William and Harry.
Mandy was open and proud of her sexuality, and prone to saying the most inappropriate thing possible in all situations. She had a tendency to talk about her personal life far too much, and often kept fellow officer Sylvia up-to-date with the latest goings on in her life, a friendship which was surprising considering Sylvia’s ‘traditional’ views and intolerance of homosexuality. While Mandy had a tendency to be a little dim, naive and gullible – often getting her into messes – she was also portrayed as admirably loyal and kind.
She was last seen reeling from the news that her girlfriend Sandy had left her for another woman.
