Lucy was a minor guest character introduced briefly in the second season premiere of the crime drama The Bridge, as a love interest for reporter Adriana Mendez. Lucy was seen again in the seventh episode when she and Adriana were snuggling in bed before being interrupted by Adriana’s coworker Frye, who had spent the night on the couch. Lucy gave Adriana a kiss and went back to bed while Adriana and Frye went to work.
She was later attacked and stabbed after arriving home from the grocery store. Lucy managed to grab a knitting needle and stab her attacker with it. When Adriana arrived she found a dead man in her living room and an unconscious Lucy.
Lucy was absent from the following episode but she survived and was in a hospital, and Adriana had been kicked out of her hospital room by Lucy’s parents. She was last seen in episode 11 when Adriana showed up to pick her up from the hospital, but broke up with her, to not put her in further danger. Lucy asked Adriana to pick her over her job but Adriana couldn’t do that.
