On crime drama series The Wire, recurring character Kimmy and her girlfriend Tosha were introduced in the second season as a young lesbian couple who made a living robbing drug dealers. They both joined the crew of Omar Little, who was a renowned stick-up man. However, Tosha ended up being shot to death by Omar’s boyfriend Dante in a heist gone wrong, leaving Kimmy distraught, and she decided to leave Omar’s crew.
She returned in season four to help Omar and his crew steal a large drug shipment. After the successful heist, Kimmy took her cut and told Omar that she intended to retire from her dangerous profession.
