Hailey (Ana Ortiz)
Hailey was introduced in episode 12 as main character Kay’s first ever steady girlfriend. The two had been dating for two months already but Kay had wanted to keep it a secret from her friends. In the next episode Kay and Hailey enjoyed a Valentine’s Day date at a fancy restaurant.
Marry Me was pulled off the air after the first 14 episodes and the series was cancelled, resulting in the last 4 episodes of the series never airing on NBC, or in the US. They did, however, air in the UK later that year.
In the unaired episodes, Hailey returned in the episode 17 where she and Kay continued their relationship, it was implied that they had sex in the shower before they were interrupted but their friends. In the last episode Kay and Hailey said they loved each other at Annie and Jake’s wedding, and they were seen jamming to the music together with all of the other cast members in the series last scene.
