Fern, Hollyoaks

Fern (Amy Gavin)
Fern was introduced when she discovered that Jason Costello (born Jasmine) was transgender, and they bonded, with Fern revealing she was a lesbian. However, after Jason said he still liked boys and rejected a kiss from her, Fern started bullying him in school, threatening to reveal the secret to his family. Fern started blackmailing Jason and accidentally stabbed Bart McQueen, Jason’s love interest, during a fight and framed ‘Jason’.
Jason’s brother Seth Costello asked Fern to go with him as his date to the school disco, to annoy Jason. She did, and Fern provoked Jason further and tried to blackmail him by threatening to reveal his secret, yet again, on the sound system. Jason and Bart reported her to the police, and Jason cut his hair short, came out as transgender and changed his name from Jasmine to Jason.
Fern appeared a few weeks later, when she apologized and told Bart and Jason that she would plead guilty at her trial but only if they testify that Bart’s stabbing was an accident. After a heart-to-heart with Fern, Jason told her she should come out as lesbian.
