Felicity, The Catch

Felicity (Shivani Ghai)
Felicity was introduced as a woman working for a “benefactor” that con artist Margot and her lover owed a debt to. Though initially Margot seduced her to distract her from the debt, the relationship quickly developed into something more.
The benefactor was Margot’s brother, Rhys, and he and Felicity shared a sexual relationship. Though this revelation upset Margot, the two women reconciled quickly and ended up in bed together. Immediately after, Rhys appeared to interrogate Felicity and she was shot and killed by her male love interest, immediately after having sex with her female love interest.
Lexa Pledge
The death happened days after co-executive producer Sherry White signed the Lexa Pledge. She released a statement: “It was too late to do anything about it, but I made a promise to Noelle that I would never again allow this to happen in a story room without putting up an epic fight.”
Season 2
In episode 2×07, Rhys talked about Felicity as a lover who betrayed him, and hinted that she was permanently out of the picture. In the final 40 seconds of the episode however, she was revealed alive. She knocked on Margot’s door, had a brief talk that indicated Margot knew she was alive (but thought she was in India) and the scene ended with them kissing.
Episode 2×08 opened with Margot and Felicity having sex, and waking up together. The morning after, Felicity said she came back once she found out Margot was in charge, to “offer her services”. They were interrupted by Margot’s daughter and the three had an awkward breakfast together.
Margot hired Felicity to help her steal a bottle of scotch worth over $1 million from a casino, and they were successful, but Margot’s trade deal fell through and she assumed Felicity betrayed her and was working with Rhys. The episode ended with Margot showing up at Rhys’ place, holding a gun, looking for Felicity. Rhys had no idea she was alive.
In the final two episodes, Felicity was revealed to be working with Tessa, Margot’s daughter, in order to take over the firm. In the end, Tessa wasn’t willing to kill Margot and turned against Felicity who was arrested by the FBI. Her final fate was left unknown.
The show was cancelled after season 2.

Interesting. One of the producers on The Catch signed the Lexa pledge right before Felicity’s death aired.
