Denny Blood, Bad Girls
Denny Blood (Alicya Eyo)
Introduced in Season 1, Denny Blood was an inmate at Larkhall sentenced to 7 years for arson. She had been emotionally deprived all her life and was sexually abused. To compensate, she had a tendency to form fiercely loyal, fixated relationships, often with women whom she perceived to have power – thus her early obsession with psychopathic inmate and sometimes lover Shell Dockley.
Tough initially portrayed as thuggish and cruel, she later developed to be somewhat caring and kind, especially to her girlfriend, fellow inmate Shaz Wiley. When Shaz was accidentally killed in a fire, Denny became vengeful and sought to get revenge on the inmate responsible. Denny was last seen in Season 5 (5×16), when she was transferred to Whitecross, an open prison.
