Ashley Davies, South of Nowhere

Ashley Davies (Mandy Musgrave)
Teen drama series South of Nowhere lead Ashley Davies was the wild daughter of a rock star who attended King High School and got a $12.5 million dollar inheritance from her late father. She was portrayed as rebellious narcissist who was at times known to refuse the conformity of labels such as straight or gay.
In the pilot episode, it was revealed that at one point in her life Ashley had dated Aiden Dennison and that after the two had sex, Ashley discovered that she was pregnant. She intended to keep the baby, but suffered a miscarriage and the two eventually broke up.
Ashley then turned to girls, and it was known that she slept around with various nameless girls quite often. Over the course of the first season, Ashley visibly developed romantic feelings for new transfer student and friend Spencer Carlin. Though it was obvious that Spencer, who was beginning to discover her own sexuality due to Ashley, returned those feelings, Ashley kept pushing her away because she “wants [her], but she doesn’t want to hurt [her]”. Spencer replied that not only can she take care of herself, but she can take care of Ashley as well, and the two shared a kiss that lead to both sex and the start of their romance which continued throughout season 2.
Season 3
In the start of the third season, Ashley had been away in Europe with her mother and Ashley’s and Spencer’s relationship cooled down. They reconciled briefly before Spencer decided to break off the relationship. Upset, Ashley started having sex with Aiden.
During the mid-season finale, Spencer came to realize that she still loved Ashley, and they kissed, made love, and got back together until the series end. In the final episode, Spencer had to make a choice to go to a college away from Ashley, but ended up choosing to stay close at UCLA and they moved into a loft together.
In a web extra, ‘Five Years Later’ an adult Spencer and Ashley appeared as a married couple, expecting a child together, Ashley carrying the baby created from Spencer’s eggs and fathered by Aiden.
